Despite, perhaps, popular belief

I have some goals, believe it or not. Neatly written on a 3"-5" notecard held up by some sticky tack, they stare me in the face everytime I sit down at my desk. And here they are:

Susie's Goals for 2010
-Draw closer to Christ

-Try harder in my studies

-Develop meaningful relationships

-Find more ways to serve others

-Foster talents



DC went pretty well last week. Prop load wasn't too big, and P-pack was really on top of things, as usual. And I've decided whom to pick for my new assistant as a result of our try-outs. Hopefully they work out well. As fun as DC is, it is nice to have my life back again for a couple weeks, before our March show comes around.


On my desk right now I have a bottle of Martinelli's, over a dozen dead glowsticks, 3 tubes of car paint, an overflowing stack of books, "Cartoon Susie" sketched by Amy, a lightbulb, $10 in quarters, my scriptures, a bouncy ball, Elmer's glue, a jar of peanut butter, and a sticky note that reads "Thanks for being my wingman", among various other things that make me happy.


At home, I used to have a pretty sweet supply of play weapons chilling in the back of my truck, to entertain whoever it was I threw back there that day. Since moving to Utah, I have limited my weapon supply to just the bare essentials. But recently, with Steph's help, my arsenal just got a little bit better. I now have a marshmallow gun to accompany my potato pellet guns, and airzooka. =]
